Student Announcements: April 1, 2019

April is Arab American Heritage Month! Anyone who is interested in helping celebrate, please come to the MSU meeting Thursday during lunch in D217.

Friday, April 5 is the last day to purchase prom tickets. Tickets are $50 per person. You can purchase tickets online OR in person during lunch. If the cost of a ticket would prevent you from attending prom, see April Crider in the CIC for information about reduced ticket prices.

Application for the National Honor Society is now open to all eligible students. You must be a current or rising Junior with a weighted GPA of 3.8 and have 60 Service Learning hours. Please note that having those two requirements does not guarantee admission. Download an application here and submit to Ms. Barkdolloni in TLC1 before 4 pm on April 12.

Looking for a class to add to your course registration?  Take a Theatre, Technical Theatre course, or Honors Global Cinema and Filmmaking.  Sign up for a course when you register, and speak with Ms. Stegall in C114 if you have questions.  There's a place for everyone!

All Cinderella's Closet applications are due in to Ms. Crider tomorrow, don't forget!  Say yes to the dress!

Congratulations to Coach Bulleri! Winner of the Jaguar March Madness Trivia Contest.  Enjoy your Al's Burger gift card!

The Red Cross Club is holding a Blood Drive on April 4th. Visit the table in front of the Media Center during lunch for details!

The Durham Tech rep will be on campus Wednesday and Thursday this week. Email Ms. Coley (Lcoley@chccs.k12.nc.us) for an appointment.

The CHS Quizbowl team is hosting a Student vs Staff trivia competition on Friday April 5th, in the library, if you are interested in facing off against your teachers in a battle of wits? Sign up now through the link in your email Quiz Bowl Sign up Form
