We will continue distributing yearbooks during lunch TODAY, in the Blackbox (C114).  If you would like to purchase a book, you can bring $92 to the Blackbox (C114) at lunch today or tomorrow .  Please make sure to write your name in your book once you receive it. As we need students to sign for books, you may only pick up your own book.

As the end of the year approaches, we're all getting ready to rise another grade level. The same is true for the 8th graders (incoming freshmen). This year, we're looking for 20 JAGs -Junior Advisory Guide- to help the incoming freshmen assimilate into our beautiful and welcoming Carrboro environment. As the end of the year approaches, we're all getting ready to rise another grade level. The same is true for the 8th graders (incoming freshmen). This year, we're looking for 20 JAGs -Junior Advisory Guide- to help the incoming freshmen assimilate into our beautiful and welcoming Carrboro environment. Yearbooks will be distributed starting at 12:30 today in the Theater.  We will have a student with a list at the main door in case you are unsure if you purchased.  Please make sure to write your name in your book once you receive it. If you would like to purchase a book, you can bring $92 to the Blackbox  (C114) at lunch tomorrow or Thursday. We have under 20 books remaining, so don't miss out. Faculty/Staff, we will deliver books to you unless you would like to purchase starting tomorrow.

Fantastic Weekend for the Jaguars!


Congratulations to our Men's Tennis Team! 2018 NCHSAA Dual Team State Champions! Congrats to Coach Noyes and Coach O'Brien. Zach Anderson was named MVP and Ben Lu received the Sportsmanship Award. This is the 3rd Dual Team title for the Jags.


Women's Soccer defeated Dixon Friday Night 2-1. We travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills) on Tuesday May 22. This is our 4th consecutive trip to the East Regional Finals.  Go Jags!


Congratulations to the following Jaguar Track Team Members who reached the podium on Saturday at the NCHSAA 2A State Championship:


Ajani Murdaugh, 2nd in 200 and 3rd in the 400, anchored the 4x400 relay team which took 4th with teammates, Carter Macklin, Elijah Jones, and Tim Rogers-Neal (ran a great third leg)


Madeline Ramsden (Freshman) placed 3rd in the 3200


4x800 Women's Relay Team (young and promising) placed 2nd: Rachel Buck, Madeline Ramsden, Cora Van Raay and Elise Deshusses

CHS's own Theatre 4 class is producing a show addressing the issue of gun violence. The show includes a set of monologues, poems, and scenes as well as an original documentary about the student voice events that occurred in March and April. The show is tonight, Friday, May 18th at 7:30. You can purchase tickets early by reserving them at jagtheatre.seatyourself.biz. Hope to see you there!
