All Peer Buddy applicants should report to room E114 today during A lunch to turn in any missing forms and/or documents as well as to also discuss your potential role in the program. Student Announcements for Monday, Dec. 7th

Good morning!


Open auditions callbacks for the winter production, The Little Prince have been changed to today,  Monday, December 7 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in the CHS Theater.  Any student, regardless of whether you are in a class or not, may audition from 4:00 - 5:00, and then stay for callbacks from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  Please complete this form, prepare 1-2 minute monologue.  However, if you don't have one, a monologue will be provided.  Also bring a resume (if you have one) and a list of your conflicts through January.  Dress appropriately for movement.
Students interested in designing or working tech for the show should complete this form before Tuesday, December 8.  No experience needed!  Email jagtheatre@gmail.com with any questions.


POWDERPUFF IS TONIGHT, MONDAY, DECEMBER 7 from 5pm to 7pm.  Come out to support our players and help raise money for prom with your $1 for admission!  The theme is PURPLE-OUT!

Do you like lemurs? Join the CHS Biology Club on a visit to the Duke Lemur Center. We will have a behind the scenes tour, and meet some of the scientists who work with the lemurs. The trip is Saturday, December 12. The cost is $15. See Mrs. Bulleri in E224 for information and to sign up.

Student Announcements for Friday, Dec. 4th

Good morning!


Today is the last day for the food drive for TABLE.  TABLE provides food for local children in need. Please donate items during your 1st period class.
·  The 1st period that donates the most cans will win a free Bruegger's breakfast (from DECA).
·  1st period classes that collect at least 20 items will have library fines forgiven for all students in that class (except for lost book fines).
·  All students who donate will receive a Spirit Card from the SGA.
·  If we collect 800 items as a school ALL library fines for the entire school will be forgiven.
The library, SGA, DECA and Key Club thank you so much for your support.


Today is the LAST day to register for our summer service  trip to Nicaragua. Learn about Nicaraguan culture, use Spanish, help their community, and swim in a volcanic lake!  Mr. Klakovich will be in room D214 at lunch all week if you have questions. Do something worthwhile this summer!!!


Come out and see the annual CHS One-Act Festival, hosted by Hats Off Productions! Performances are: Thursday, December 3 - Sunday, December 5 at 7:30 PM
 in the CHS Blackbox.  There is also a Sunday matinee on December 6 at 2:30 PM.  Seats are limited, so you are encouraged to purchase tickets online at seatyourself.biz/jagtheatre.  Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults and free for CHCCS Faculty/Staff.  (Faculty/Staff should email carrborotheatre@gmail.com for reservations.)
