Carrboro High School is happy to announce the start of a Peer Buddy Program. The purpose of this program is to promote inclusion of all students. Peer Buddy Programs facilitate friendships, build leadership skills and promote acceptance, understanding and awareness of differences among students.  Students will meet with their buddy once a week during lunch or another arranged time. Service learning hours will be given to all HS students who are participating in the Peer Buddy program.  If you are interested in having a buddy or being a buddy, you can get an application from Mr. Makor in E114.

The CHS Academy of International Studies welcomes Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man, on December 14 at 7pm.  Join us as we hear about his experience trying to live zero carbon impact life for a year.  The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Ticketing information is available on the AIS website tinyurl.com/CarrboroAIS
