Will Macmillan, Jaguar Swimmers, will make their college athletic signing
announcements beginning at 12 noon today in the Media Center.
Friends and swim members may attend with permission from their 4th period
teacher. Go Mia and Will!
Fall athletes, team
rooms will be cleared of personal items today. Make sure you take your
belongings.
Fall Athletic Awards
will be held on Monday Nov. 23 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. More
details to follow.
SGA, DECA, Key Club
and the Library are holding a fall food drive for TABLE from Nov. 2nd - Dec.
4th. TABLE provides food for local children in need. Please donate items
during your 1st period class.
· The 1st period that donates the most cans will
win a free Bruegger's breakfast (from DECA).
· 1st period classes that collect at least 20
items will have library fines forgiven for all students in that class (except
for lost book fines).
· All students who donate will receive a Spirit
Card from the SGA.
· If we collect 800 items as a school ALL
library fines for the entire school will be forgiven.

The JagWire, is travelling to a national journalism
convention in less than two weeks. 5 of our staffers still need your help
to make their trip a reality for a total of $1,500. Won't you please help fund

whether you are on the field, or cheering them on! Plan to bring $1 for
admission and have a snack at a fantastic concession stand!! BE THERE AND WEAR
YOUR PURPLE!!
ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS:
Powderpuff shirts are about to be ordered! Bring $20 to one of your class
council reps or Mrs. Dumaine to get one! Deadline is today,Tuesday November
10th during lunch! Be sure to get a shirt if you want to play!
Seniors, you are
invited to a scholarship workshop in the CIC during A lunch on Thursday,
November 12. Come learn about outside scholarships and how to get this
free money for college! Sign up in the CIC.
Do you like lemurs?
Join the CHS Biology Club on a visit to the Duke Lemur Center. We will have a
behind the scenes tour, and meet some of the scientists who work with the
lemurs. The trip is Saturday, December 12. The cost is $15. See Mrs. Bulleri in
E224 for information and to sign up.
