announcements beginning at 12 noon on Tuesday Nov. 10.
Friends and swim members may attend with permission from their 4th period
teacher. Go Mia and Will!
Congratulations to
both the Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams! Amanda Hickey won the 2A State
Championship! Sixth consecutive Carrboro runner to win the state
title. Women were State Runners-up and the men placed third.
Congrats to all the XC runners!
Fall athletes, team
rooms will be cleared of personal items today. Make sure you take your
belongings.
Fall Athletic Awards
will be held on Monday Nov. 23 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. More
details to follow.
Spirit Night at Al's
Burger Shack! TONIGHT, Monday, Nov. 9th from 5:00-8:00
pm. Tell the cashier that you are there to support CHS Women's
Basketball! 10% of the proceeds goes to the Lady Jags!
SGA, DECA, Key Club
and the Library are holding a fall food drive for TABLE from Nov. 2nd -
Dec. 4th. TABLE provides food for local children in need. Please donate
items during your 1st period class.
· The 1st period that donates the most cans will
win a free Bruegger's breakfast (from DECA).
· 1st period classes that collect at least 20
items will have library fines forgiven for all students in that class (except
for lost book fines).
· All students who donate will receive a Spirit
Card from the SGA.
· If we collect 800 items as a school ALL
library fines for the entire school will be forgiven.

The JagWire, is travelling to a national journalism
convention in less than two weeks. 5 of our staffers still need your help
to make their trip a reality for a total of $1,500. Won't you please help fund
