  • Developing an audio story in another language to give students access to English books narrated in their native languages.

  • Creating career pathway adventures for elementary kids to learn about careers in Virology, Photography, Painting, Engineer, and ER Veterinarians to list a few.

Alright, STOP, collaborate and listen...the Principles of Family and Human Services class is hosting a Winter Warm Up clothing drive THIS WEEK. We're collecting 500 pieces of new or gently used winter weather clothing- hats, scarves, coats, sweaters, pants...you get it- for people of all ages. Please take a moment to check your closets and bring any items to room D124 by the end of Thursday, and help keep your community warm this winter. We can do this! Any questions can be routed to Mrs. Cathcart. Now, clean out those closets!


MSU Members: Our meeting will include  yearbook pictures for our club and a visit from a CHS alumni, now a senior at WSSU. Come get in the picture and enjoy conversation about what life after high school may hold!  Come to D217 today at lunch.

Congratulations to the newest members of The CHS chapter of the National Honor Society. Student Announcements: DEcember 6, 2018

There is a SkillsUSA meeting during lunch today in Ms. Landis' Room E115.


Congratulations to the newest members of The CHS chapter of the National Honor Society. They are: Kate Allen, Lauren Baddour, Grace Hegland, Ashley Hong, Morgan Jackson, Carlisle Mills, Francine Ollila, Jonathan Osborne, Jared Porter, Nina Scott-Farquharson, Ella Speer, Cora Therber, and Parker Zinn.


HEY CHS students, starting this week students must sign in when coming up to the Student Services office.  You will see a computer immediately to the right when you walk in.


The Annual Red Cross Winter Blood Drive will be held on Monday, December 17th. Please visit the table in front of the Media Center to schedule a time to donate.


Enter READ Club's The Hate U Give raffle supporting Books on Break, $1 is equivalent to one entry, enter with as many chances as you please! For every 5 people you refer to enter, you get another free entry. YLI  will host its last meeting of 2018 today during lunch in Mr. Murchinson's room, D217. There will be a special presentation by a guest speaker. Snacks will be provided.


Would you like to brighten the day of a pediatric cancer patient at UNC?  If so please donate a new unwrapped game or gift card to TAKEDOWN cancer by December 18th.  There are drop boxes in the front office and library or see Ms Veltri in room D121.

HEY CHS students, starting this week students must sign in when coming up to the Student Services office.  You will see a computer immediately to the right when you walk in.


The Annual Red Cross Winter Blood Drive will be held on Monday, December 17th. Please visit the table in front of the Media Center to schedule a time to donate.


Girl's Soccer will have an interest meeting  Friday, Dec 7, at 12:30 in the weight room.


Hey Class of 2019, if you are interested in discounted or free senior portraits contact Cici Sullenger. All proceeds go to support CHS National Honor Society and will help establish and fund the Daphe Montoya Memorial Scholarship.


Come down on December 6th-8th to see the Carrboro High One-Act Festival! Featuring your fellow students, the One-Acts promise to be a night full of laughs, fun, and togetherness. Tickets are $5 for students, $ 10 for adults, and free for faculty and staff. You can buy your tickets online at seatyourself.biz/jagtheatre. Doors to the Theater open at 7:00 and the show starts at 7:30. Show your support for CHS Theatre!
