Women's LACROSSE FALL
SESSIONS will start on Thursday, Dec. 3 and run every Tuesday/Thursday until
the Season Starts, with our Try-Outs starting on Mon. Feb. 15.
Come out and see the
annual CHS One-Act Festival, hosted by Hats Off Productions! Performances
are: Thursday, December 3 - Sunday, December 5 at 7:30 PM
in the CHS
Blackbox. There is also a Sunday matinee on December 6 at 2:30
PM. Seats are limited, so you are encouraged to purchase tickets online
at seatyourself.biz/jagtheatre. Tickets are
$5 for students, $10 for adults and free for CHCCS Faculty/Staff.

SGA, DECA, Key Club
and the Library are holding a fall food drive for TABLE through
Friday, Dec. 4th. TABLE provides food for local children in need.
Please donate items during your 1st period class.
· The 1st period that donates the most cans will
win a free Bruegger's breakfast (from DECA).
· 1st period classes that collect at least 20
items will have library fines forgiven for all students in that class (except
for lost book fines).
· All students who donate will receive a Spirit
Card from the SGA.
· If we collect 800 items as a school ALL
library fines for the entire school will be forgiven.

The CHS Academy of
International Studies welcomes Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man, on December
14 at 7pm. Join us as we hear about his experience trying to live zero
carbon impact life for a year. The presentation will be followed by a

Only three more days
to register for our summer service trip to Nicaragua. Learn about
Nicaraguan culture, use Spanish, help their community, and swim in a volcanic
lake! Mr. Klakovich will be in room D214 at lunch all week if you have
questions. Do something worthwhile this summer!!!
Do you like lemurs?
Join the CHS Biology Club on a visit to the Duke Lemur Center. We will have a
behind the scenes tour, and meet some of the scientists who work with the
lemurs. The trip is Saturday, December 12. The cost is $15. See Mrs. Bulleri in
E224 for information and to sign up.
