Open auditions
callbacks for the winter production, The Little Prince have
been changed to today, Monday, December 7 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm in
the CHS Theater. Any student, regardless of whether you are in a class or
not, may audition from 4:00 - 5:00, and then stay for callbacks from 5:00
- 7:00 pm. Please complete this form,
prepare 1-2 minute monologue. However, if you don't have one, a monologue
will be provided. Also bring a resume (if you have one) and a list of
your conflicts through January. Dress appropriately for movement.
Students interested in
designing or working tech for the show should complete this form before
Tuesday, December 8. No experience needed! Email jagtheatre@gmail.com with
any questions.
POWDERPUFF IS TONIGHT,
MONDAY, DECEMBER 7 from 5pm to 7pm. Come out to support our players and
help raise money for prom with your $1 for admission! The theme is
PURPLE-OUT!

Spring Sports activities need to submit a physical to the Athletic Director and
register online at 8to18. Registration is found on the CHS athletic webpage.
The Peer Buddy Program
is here! WHAT IS IT? The purpose of this program is to promote
inclusion of all students. Are you interested in mentorship, facilitating
friendships, building leadership skills and promoting acceptance, understanding
and awareness of differences among students? Then the Peer Buddy Program is for
you! If you are interested in this program, please see Mr. Makor in E114
for details. Also, all applications are due on Monday, Dec. 7th!
Do you like lemurs?
Join the CHS Biology Club on a visit to the Duke Lemur Center. We will have a
behind the scenes tour, and meet some of the scientists who work with the
lemurs. The trip is Saturday, December 12. The cost is $15. See Mrs. Bulleri in
E224 for information and to sign up.
Are you interested in
reducing your carbon footprint? The CHS Academy of International Studies
welcomes Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man, on December 14 at 7pm.
Join us as we hear about his experience trying to live zero carbon impact life
for a year. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Jaguars, are you interested in attending UNC’s Business School? The Carrboro DECA Chapter is sponsoring a trip to the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Students who have yet to join DECA are invited to accompany our chapter members. Non-DECA members will have a field-trip of $20, and that fee also grants you a complimentary DECA membership for no additional charge. All participants will need to bring lunch money.
