Home Swim Meet Dec. 10 at Homestead; come out and support your Jaguars!


Come B Lunch Wednesday to room E119 to enjoy reading the Phantom Tollbooth aloud! Bring a copy, if you have one.


The Yoga Club will hold a class in the gym during lunch, today, 12/10! Take time to de-stress, have fun and BREATHE!


The Peer Buddy Program is here!  WHAT IS IT?  The purpose of this program is to promote inclusion of all students.  Are you interested in mentorship, facilitating friendships, building leadership skills and promoting acceptance, understanding and awareness of differences among students? Then the Peer Buddy Program is for you!  If you are interested in this program, please see Mr. Makor in E114 for details.  All Peer Buddy applications are due on Friday, Dec. 11th!


Students interested in trying out for Spring Sports or participating in pre-season Spring Sports activities need to submit a physical to the Athletic Director and register online at 8to18. Registration is found on the CHS athletic webpage.

Are you interested in reducing your carbon footprint?  The CHS Academy of International Studies welcomes Colin Beavan, author of No Impact Man, on December 14 at 7pm.  Join us as we hear about his experience trying to live zero carbon impact life for a year.  The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Jaguars, are you interested in attending UNC’s Business School? The Carrboro DECA Chapter is sponsoring a trip to the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Students who have yet to join DECA are invited to accompany our chapter members. Non-DECA members will have a field-trip of $20, and that fee also grants you a complimentary DECA membership for no additional charge. All participants will need to bring lunch money. See Mr. McSwain in room E115 for details.

Seniors please take a moment to check your email and complete the brief interest survey, to participate in the Senior Lunch Chat with our 2015 graduates.  If you would like to attend, please indicate which lunch, A or B.  We invite you to join us for our annual gathering on Thursday, December 17, from 12:15-1:00PM, in Room C117 (Band Room).  Here are a few of the topics that will be discussed:  Balancing social and school work, Handling money, Roommates and dorm life, Meeting new friends, Time management, and your specific questions.
