Team Jerseys are here!  Students who ordered Team Jerseys can pick theirs up in the main office.


Latin Students!  Come celebrate the Festival of the Great horse today during lunch in Room E121!  If you want to check your teams, stop by to see Ms. Clay.

Attention students interested in traveling to Spain:  The final deadline to sign up is today, October 15!  If you have any questions, visit Ms. Dumaine in E116 or email her.  Again, October 15 is the FINAL DEADLINE to travel with us.

Yoga Club is meeting for a short Yoga class during lunch tomorrow in the gym 12:10-12:50. We’ll have mats. Faculty and students welcome to join in!

Come out on Monday, 10/19 to Yoga for a Cause to benefit those dealing with cancer and other illnesses in our CHS Family Community!  The Yoga class is by donation and starts at 5:00 on the football field. Even if you won’t be attending the class, come out for our social part 6:00 -7:00! We have American Meltdown and Jam Ice Cream food trucks, music and  vendors selling cool stuff!! We are challenging our sports teams to see who can get the most participation to win a yummy prize!


Did you want to go to Ecuador last year but didn’t get to go? This Friday during “A” lunch there will be a meeting in D214 about this year’s service trip to Nicaragua. It promises to be just as exciting as our trip to Ecuador. Come find out how you can make  difference in the world


Do you want to learn how to flip? If so, join the CHS diving team. Interest meeting is next week, Tuesday, Oct 20th after school in E-122.

Girl's Basketball interest meeting - Wednesday, October 21 in Room D112 during A Lunch.  Girl's Basketball tryouts will be held on November 2nd, 3rd & 4th from 4:15-6:15 p.m.  Make sure to register at carrboro.8to18.com and have an updated physical.  


SUPPORT A MUSICIAN!  Pancake Brunch and continuous live music - Saturday, October 24, 2014 - 11 am to 1 pm in the Cafe Commons.  Students $3 ($2.50 in advance); adults $5.



Volley-boys Competition this Saturday, 10/17 at 3:00 p.m. @ Umstead Park. Come watch and/or participate in the competition! There is a meeting in E-116 during A Lunch on Friday, 10/16.



Due to an increased number of injuries over the past two weeks, Carrboro High School has cancelled the October 16th home football game vs Bartlett Yancey. The decision was based on the safety and the well being of our athletes.  We will not make up the game at this time.  Our plan is to continue football on October 23 vs Graham based on a safe number of participants who can play.
