Come out on Monday,
10/19 to Yoga for a Cause to benefit those dealing with cancer and other
illnesses in our CHS Family Community! The Yoga class is by donation and
starts at 5:00 on the football field. Even if you won’t be attending the class,
come out for our social part 6:00 -7:00! We have American Meltdown and Jam Ice
Cream food trucks, music and vendors selling cool stuff!! We are
challenging our sports teams to see who can get the most participation to win a
yummy prize!
Did you want to go to
Ecuador last year but didn’t get to go? This Friday 10/16 during “A” lunch
there will be a meeting in D214 about this year’s service trip to Nicaragua. It
promises to be just as exciting as our trip to Ecuador. Come find out how you can
make a difference in the world
Do you want to learn
how to flip? If so, join the CHS diving team. Interest meeting is next week for
swimming and diving, Tuesday, Oct 20th after school in E-122. If you have any
questions please see Ms. Schrader.
Girl's Basketball

Lunch. Girl's Basketball tryouts will be held on November 2nd, 3rd
& 4th from 4:15-6:15 p.m. Make sure to register at carrboro.8to18.com and
have an updated physical.

Volley-boys
Competition this Saturday, 10/17 at 3:00 p.m. @ Umstead Park. Come watch and/or
participate in the competition! There is a meeting in E-116 during A Lunch on
Friday, 10/16.
SENIORS - Important Announcement: Please mark your
calendars for November 2nd at 12:00 Noon for your group
senior photograph followed by a presentation from Herff Jones in the CHS Gym.
At that presentation you will receive your cap and gown packets for ordering
graduation regalia. We will have closed campus for seniors that day, so
please bring your lunch or make arrangements. See Dr. Wooten if you have
questions.
