Any Yogis in the house? Linda Karcher, Yoga Advisor and Teacher is looking for a president to get this club started this year and help with Jaguar Jump In. Please see her in Student Services ASAP and pick up a club form from Student Government.

Hey Jaguars! Do you like blazers? Do you like facts & figures? Do you like discussions and performances? If so, join the speech and debate team! We have our first interest meeting in room E220 on Monday, September 10th during lunch.  Feel free to drop in at anytime to learn more about the debate team.

A representative from Vanderbilt University will be in the CIC on Monday, Sep 10 at 9am. Sign up in the CIC if interested.


After-school tutoring will start on Tuesday, September 18th. Tutoring days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 pm, in the Media Center. There will be buses available to take students home. Any questions, see or email Dr. Morais in D114.


Do you receive Free or Reduced Lunch?  Remember that a new form must be completed each year to remain eligible.  You can get the forms from the cafeteria staff or in the CIC. Please see Ms. Crider if you have any questions.


There will be a Baseball Interest meeting today on Thursday Sept. 6 at the beginning of lunch in the weight room.


CHS Theatre's season theme is Facing Giants; we will be producing Twelve Angry Jurors in the fall and Into the Woods in the spring.  Students interested in being a part of the fall play should visit https://tinyurl.com/jagtheatre to learn more, and sign up before this Sunday, September 9th.  For the fall play, audition and tech priority goes to students in a course, but any student may come to auditions to gain experience and feedback or sign up to tech for service hours.


Are you interested in starting a club at CHS or bringing your club back for another year? It is that time of year where club proposals are due by September 17. Every club must complete a form and return it to Mr. Severance in D120 or TLC 1 by September 17 if your club wants to take place this year and have a spot at Jaguar Jump In. The Sophistikeys will be holding auditions next week in the chorus room. This is your chance to become part of CHS's new all-female a capella group. Auditions will be the 12th and 13th - sign up outside the chorus room or contact a leader! Can't wait to jam with y'all!!
