Student Announcements: September 18, 2018

Seniors - Due to our abbreviated schedule, it is a CLOSED campus for lunch today. You must remain on campus for lunch.


Because of transportation issues, after-school tutoring has been postponed and will begin on Tuesday, September 25th. Tutoring days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 pm, in the Media Center. There will be buses available to take students home. Any questions, see or email Dr. Morais in D114.


The University of Pennsylvania representative visit scheduled for today has been cancelled.


The college fair scheduled for tonight has been POSTPONED! A makeup date will be announced soon.


All club proposals are due TODAY. Pick up a form next to the SGA bulletin board in the commons or follow this link to make a copy of the form: https://tinyurl.com/chsclubform. Every club must complete a form and return it to Mr. Severance in D120 or TLC 1 if your club wants to participate and secure a spot at Jaguar Jump In. Please see Mr. Severance with any questions


Final auditions for the Sophistikeys will be held today at lunch in the C wing. Email leaders if you can't make it but would still like to audition.


Thursday at lunch, the CHS Minority Student Union will have a kick-off event in the courtyard to increase awareness of groups for students of color at CHS.  Come out for music, information, and sign-ups Thursday during lunch!


Are you interested in being a Peer Buddy? You must attend a mandatory Peer Buddy training each year.  There will be trainings this week today and Thursday during lunch in D122. You only need to attend 1 training. Contact Mrs. Barry with any questions.


Tomorrow is now a school day and NOT a work day. Students who miss school due to the religious holiday will be excused from the day and/or be given extra time for homework/assignments. There will also be no athletic contests scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
