Student Announcements: September 4, 2018

Interested in being a Peer Buddy?  Stop by room D122 to pick up your forms or click the link below!  If you were a CHS Peer Buddy last year, you do NOT need to submit forms again!  Service Learning Hours are available to all who participate. Peer Buddy FAQs


There will be a Girls Basketball Interest Meeting Wednesday, September 5th during Lunch in room D112.   Please see Coach Dillard-Clanton if you have any questions.

See Mr. Murchison in D217 if you are interested in being the Sophomore Class President or Vice President.


Freshmen, are you interested in being Class President or Vice President?  If so, see Dr. Augustine in E214.


The first meeting of the National Honor Society will take place Thursday, September 6th at lunch in Room D217. Attendance is MANDATORY. Email Ms. Barkdolloni with questions.


There will be a quick Senior Meeting in the Theater during Lunch on Wednesday.  All seniors are strongly encouraged to attend.

After-school tutoring will start on Tuesday, September 18th. Tutoring days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5 pm, in the Media Center. There will be buses available to take students home. Any questions, see or email Dr. Morais in D114.


Do you receive Free or Reduced Lunch?  Remember that a new form must be completed each year to remain eligible.  You can get the forms from the cafeteria staff or in the CIC. Please see Ms Crider if you have any questions.


Teachers and students--reminder that tardies start TODAY!  Be that warm demander students need you to be!


Eco-Action work days are starting today in the garden behind D-wing. We will meet every Tuesday all year!

Don't forget there is a requirement to complete Service Learning hours for graduation.  The website is: https://www.chccs.org/ServiceLearning   If you need to set up your account, you can go to https://letserve.com/   Click log-in. Enter in your school e-mai address and click "forgot password ?". Then you will have a new password e-mailed to you  You can then more easily add the LetServe app if you want.
