Student Announcements: February 7, 2018

Did you know that not only is February Career and Technical Education month, but that this week is National School Counselor Week? The CTE department would like to say thanks to Ms. Sholomon, Mr. Lathan, and Mr. Turner for all of their hard work. Stop by the CIC to let them know how much you appreciate them too!


Don't miss your chance to purchase your Valentine's gifts from the National Honor Society! You may pre-order flowers during both lunches every day this week.  Look for us in the Commons outside the Media Center. Flowers will be delivered on Valentine's Day with your personal message.


After school tutoring is canceled tomorrow (Thursday) due to Parent/Teacher conferences. See you next Tuesday.


Coy Maddry Memorial Scholarship applications are available from Coach Ross.  This is a faith based student athlete scholarship of $1,000.00 administered by the Orange United Methodist Church of Chapel Hill. Deadline is May 1st.


The Freshman Class Counsel will be selling "Class of 2021" shirts this year Council. To pre-order your shirt, check your email and fill out the Google Form.


Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and it's time to meet your match! Sophomore Class Council is here to help! For only $1 you can fill out a quick quiz this week Tuesday-Friday in front of the library. You will receive a list of your potential matches on February 12 -14!


If you signed up to be a member of the pit orchestra for our spring musical, The Addams Family, please plan to meet in the band room on Friday, February 9 during A Lunch. Please see Mr. Spillman if you are unable to attend or if you have questions beforehand.

Blue Ribbon will host the annual Gap Year Fair on Sunday, February 11 from 1:00 - 4:00 at Carrboro High School. See attached flyer in your email.
