On Saturday, November 8th, The Research Triangle Park (RTP) High School Sailing hosted an Open SAISA (South Atlantic Interscholastic Sailing Association) regatta at Lake Crabtree.
The Carrboro High School Sailing Club took first place overall! Club members Levi Hencke and Katie Richardson came in second in their division. Lia Osborne, sailing with a student form another school, came in first in their division.
Kelsey Ferguson is also a team member but was unable to compete Saturday.
They will be traveling to Sunbury, Georgia to compete in a points regatta on November 22nd.
