“The Yoga Club will hold its first yoga session today during lunch in Ms. Stegall’s room (the drama room) in the C-wing. We’ll have a short meeting at the beginning of the session to talk about how the club will work this year, then Ms. Karcher, a certified yoga instructor, will lead an introductory class for free. Anyone is welcome, even if you didn’t sign up at Jaguar Jump-in and have never done yoga before!”
Carrboro High School DECA will hold its first meeting Thursday, October 9th, during SMART Lunch. Topics of discussion will include future meetings and their format, officer elections (for this year and moving forward), bylaws, upcoming field trips and competition dates, and expectations. DECA membership dues will also be collected. This is a mandatory meeting, so please make arrangements to be present! Very few exceptions will be accepted.

Need help with college essays? Trained writing coaches are available during lunch on Wednesdays in the back of the Media Center to help with any and all stages of the writing process. Students can make appointments through Ms. Watson in the Media Center. If there is enough need, we may add coaches on Mondays and/or Fridays.

Tech Tuesdays and Thursdays are open call, which means that anyone, tech, actor, student, parent, faculty/staff, etc. are welcome to meet in the Theater at 4:00 to assist with show needs. This is a great way for students to earn hours for tech class, as well as service learning.
