Student Announcements: December 16, 2019

Hey Jags!  It's Winter Holiday Spirit Week, sponsored by the Minority Student Union!  Tomorrow is our Celebration of Light. Many cultures have winter holidays to celebrate the return of longer days after the Winter Solstice.  Wear something that glows! Check this link in your email for more info!

Want to brighten the day of a pediatric cancer patient at UNC Children's Hospital??  Please donate a new unwrapped game to TAKEDOWN cancer by December 18th. There are drop boxes in the front office and library or you can deliver your donation to Karen Veltri in Room D121 or Coach Driscoll at wrestling practice after school.

Seniors, December 20th during lunch, come by the band room to hear from our recent graduates about their post CHS experience.  This is a great opportunity to get real feedback from your peers of what to really expect after you graduate high school. Lunch will be provided by our PTSA.

The Red Cross is hosting its annual winter blood drive. Please sign up to donate in front of the library at lunch or ask Megan Cubell for more information.

#TeamTrees has planted a little over 17 million trees out of our 20 million goal. You can help reach this goal by donating during breakfast or lunch. Donation boxes can be found in the Spanish and French classrooms.

The SmartLunch subjects today are: CTE, World Languages, Arts and Healthful Living
