Student Announcements: December 12, 2019


Students interested in auditioning, teching, or playing in the pit orchestra for the CHS spring musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, should check the requirements and complete the online sign-up form found on tinyurl.com/jagtheatreauditions by Monday, December 16th.  Students who would like to audition may sign up for Tuesday, December 17th or Wednesday, December 18th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the CHS Theater. Callbacks will be from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 19th. All CHS students are welcome to audition and apply regardless of prior experience.

 

Want to brighten the day of a pediatric cancer patient at UNC Children's Hospital??  Please donate a new unwrapped game to TAKEDOWN cancer by December 18th. There are drop boxes in the front office and library or you can deliver your donation to Karen Veltri in Room D121 or Coach Driscoll at wrestling practice after school.

Seniors,  On December 20th during lunch, come by the band room to hear from our recent graduates about their post CHS experience.  This is a great opportunity to get real feedback from your peers of what to really expect after you graduate high school.  Lunch will be provided by our PTSA.


This is a reminder that DECA will have a table outside the Library taking orders for Secret Santa. Prices range from $3-$7...let that special someone know how special they are.       


The Red Cross is hosting its annual winter blood drive. Please sign up to donate in front of the library at lunch or ask Megan Cubell for more information.
