Student Announcements: September 9, 2019

Girls Basketball Interest Meeting will be Tuesday, September 10 @ Lunch, Room E119, bring your computer.

Do you like sports, games, and hanging out with friends? Do you want to encourage diversity and inclusion? Consider joining Peer Buddy or Special Olympics today! Our meetings are on the first Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you're not a member. To sign up or to get more info, pick up a form outside D122 or contact teachers: Mr. Hite or Mr. Kajencki or students:  Eleanor Clark and Jackson Lee. Hope to see you there!


Sophomores interested in participating in the Sophomore Class Council and/or running for Sophomore Class President or Vice President please see Mr. Faircloth in room D121 or in the commons before school or during lunch through next Wednesday.  


Men's Tennis Interest Meeting will be Monday, Sept 9 during lunch, in Dr. Arthurs' Room D115.  This is a mandatory meeting for those interested in being on the Team!


If you are interested in playing softball in the spring then come to an Interest Meeting Thursday during lunch in Room D121.  Please see Coach Faircloth in room D121 if you have any questions. Fall workouts will begin Monday, September 16th.

The following colleges will visit Carrboro High School this week:  Monday, September 9th - Case Western Reserve, Appalachian University; Tuesday - University of Kentucky, Duke University; Wednesday - Grinnell College and UNC-Chapel Hill; Thursday - High Point University; Friday - Furman University and The University of Notre Dame.  To attend these visits, please sign up in the white notebook in the CIC.


All interested Freshman, come to the 2nd freshman class council meeting this Thursday at lunch in room E214 to vote for your freshman class officers.  If you have any questions see Dr. Augustine in room E214..
