Student Announcements: April 17, 2018

Today during lunch, the CHS Jazz Ensemble will be performing an outdoor concert for all students and staff who are interested in attending. Please come out to the courtyard outside the cafe commons and support these talented musicians as they play for you.


This is the last week to apply for the National Honor Society. You must be a current or rising Junior with a weighted GPA of 3.8 and have 60 Service Learning hours. Please note that having those two requirements does not guarantee admission. Download an application here and submit to Ms. Barkdolloni in TLC1 before 4 pm on April 20.


Attention Peer Buddy and Special Olympics members! There is going to be an upcoming field day on April 27th during Lunch and 5th period. This counts as an approved field trip / excused absence from class.  If you would like to attend please complete the form in your email. If this is not done by Monday the 23rd we cannot accommodate you. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Barry.

This year Theatre 4 is producing a series of short plays and monologues, along with a screening of a short film, that addresses gun violence.  Auditions are taking place today, April 17th, and tomorrow, April 18th, and callbacks are Thursday, April 19th, during lunch in the Black Box (C114). Make sure to fill out the audition form (tinyurl.com/theatre4show) if you're interested in an acting or technical role for the show!


National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony is today during A Lunch in the Auditorium. All current members and inductees should report to the auditorium. Reception following immediately following in Dr. Arthurs room.
