Student Announcements: April 11, 2018

Application for the National Honor Society is now open to all eligible students. You must be a current or rising Junior with a weighted GPA of 3.8 and have 60 Service Learning hours. Please note that having those two requirements does not guarantee admission. Download an application here and submit to Ms. Barkdolloni in TLC1 before 4 pm on April 20 (or earlier).



Gabby Adams, Quincy Monday and Penny Newall will announce their intercollegiate athletic commitments on Wed. April 11 at 12pm in the Media Center. Teammates and friends may attend the ceremony with permission from their 4th period teacher. Congrats to Gabby, Quincy and Penny!

Happy National Library Week! Our 8th Annual Edible Books Contest will be Friday, April 13. The contest is open to all staff and students. Each entry should be edible and refer to a book. Ask in the library for more details.


Attention Peer Buddy and Special Olympics members! There is going to be an upcoming field day on April 27th during Lunch and 5th period. This counts as an approved field trip / excused absence from class.  If you would like to attend please complete the form in your email. If this is not done by Monday the 23rd we cannot accommodate you. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Barry

They're creepy and they're kooky; come join us as Carrboro High School presents, The Addams Family Musical this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30! Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, and free for CHCCS Faculty/Staff, and can be purchased at jagtheatre.seatyourself.biz.  Faculty/Staff can reserve 1 free ticket at tinyurl.com/addamschccs.
