The Carrboro High School Academy of International Studies would like to invite you to attend the 9th Grade' Spring Research Poster Presentations on May 17, 2017, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. This is a floating event, so please join us at your convenience.
Students will be stationed with their posters to answer questions and elaborate on their research.  We will also have QR codes to provide feedback to the students on their work. Please visit your app store to download a free QR code reader to your smartphone or tablet prior to the event.

Peer Buddy Program interest meeting is today during lunch.  Carrboro High School is happy to continue the Peer Buddy program and is looking for mentors for the 2017-2018 academic year.  This program is designed to bring students together for support and friendship. Students will meet with their buddy once a week during lunch or another arranged time. Service learning hours will be given to all students who are participating in the Peer Buddy program.  Training will be provided for all students who wish to mentor and support a peer. The purpose of this program is to promote inclusion of all students. Peer Buddy Programs facilitate friendships, build leadership skills and promote acceptance, understanding and awareness of differences among students.
If you are interested in having a buddy or being a buddy, you can get an application from Mr. Makor in E114 (Makor)
