Athletic Cross-training Opportunity
Professional athletes use dance training all the time to enhance their strength, flexibility, conditioning, balance, coordination, and agility. The CHS Theatre Department is offering a cross-training program for all CHS athletes. Led by local choreographer and costumer, Katie Moorehead, participants will learn new warm-ups, stretches, exercises, and moves to assist on the field and court, in addition to the stage. Currently, classes are free for student athletes. Email jagtheatre@gmail.com

Musical Theatre Workshop
There will be a Musical Theatre Workshop, open to all CHS students, Monday, December 15 - Thursday, December 18 from 4:00 - 6:30 PM in the CHS Theater. Come gain monologue coaching, vocal practice, and dance training that will help prep you for auditions. The cost is $40/student, and scholarships are available. No experience is required. Grease: The Musical Informational Meeting
There will be an informational meeting for all students who were unable to attend last week, but who are interested in performing in, teching, or playing in the pit orchestra for Grease: The Musical on Thursday, December 18 during A Lunch and one during B Lunch in the Black Box (C-114). All students are welcome!
Grease Auditions - January 6 and 7, with callbacks on January 9
Students interested in auditioning for CHS' spring musical Grease should sign up for an audition date outside of C-114, memorize and be ready to perform a 1-minute monologue, perform 16 measures of music to sing a cappella, and dress for movement. All students are welcome to audition, and no experience is required! Please refer to the jagtheatre for more information.

Spring Sports
Students who are interested in trying out for Spring Sports must register online at the CHS Athletics Webpage. Click Registration.
Sports physicals must be on the NCHSAA form. To participate in off-season or pre-season workouts, a student must have a current physical and register. All physicals need to be submitted to AD Ross.

Survey for CHS Mural
Unity Club would like to conduct a survey with you so we can include your ideas in a mural that will be painted in CHS (location still TBD) in late March. The mural will be painted with the help of Unity Club, as well as students and professional artists from the Dominican Republic. We would like to include as much input from all members of the school as possible into the mural, so please help us in achieving this goal, by taking your time to complete this survey!
