Student Announcements: March 3, 2020

We are pleased to announce CHS's participation in 2020 Say Something Call-To-Action Week. The main objective of Say Something is to teach students how to:

1.       Look for Warning Signs and threats

2.       Act immediately and take signs and threats seriously

3.       Say Something to a trusted adult BEFORE someone hurts themselves or others

Check out the signs throughout the school to learn more about Say Something!

If you are creative and interested in technology, then consider signing up for an Adobe Academy course next year. These courses are part of CHS's Career Technical Education (CTE) elective course offerings, and provide opportunities to build valuable skills in the ever expanding areas of Graphic Design; Photography; Web Design, Animation; Game Design; and Video & Audio Production using Adobe software.

Adobe Visual Design, Adobe Digital Design and Adobe Video Design are available with honors credit options and provide opportunities for students to become Adobe Certified Associates in all Adobe Creative Cloud programs. For more information, see Ms. Landis in E115.

There will be a SkillsUSA meeting during lunch Wednesday, in E115, Ms. Landis' Room, to discuss details for the upcoming state conference. All members who are planning to participate should attend.

All 9th-11th graders:  registration for next year's classes will be finalized this week.  The online PowerSchool course registration window is now open. Your paper course request forms will be due to your 1st period teacher Wed. 3/4.  Counselors will continue meeting any students with whom we have not yet met early this week, or you can email your counselor to request an appointment.

Please take a moment to nominate one of your teacher(s) and/or staff member(s) for our teacher/staff recognition program. Today is the last day for nominations. Our goal is to have 300+ submissions. Follow the links below to make a submission:
