Hello Seniors, If you are interested in running for an officer
position for Senior Class Council you must email Ms. Marro at lmarro@chccs.k12.nc.us by this Friday September 15 to let her know what postion you would like
to run for. The positions are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer,
Fundraising Manager, Public Relations Officer, and Multi-Media Director. If you

National Honor Society will have the first
meeting of the year this WED , Sept . 13th , during A lunch in D219. All
students interested in being an officer MUST attend this Mandatory meeting.
C-town shirts can be purchased during lunch $20
for students, $15 for staff/faculty.

Carrboro’s co-ed acappella group, Unnecessary Measures, next week Monday-Wednesday
in the chorus room! Sing just a verse of any song. Sign-ups are outside the
chorus room.

Eco-Action will meet today after school in our
community garden behind D wing. All are welcome. Have fun, meet new people and
earn service hours!
Do you need homework help? Free after school
tutoring starts this week. We meet in the Media Center on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 4 - 5pm. Our after school bus is NOT running yet, so you will
need a ride home. The bus should start running in a few weeks. See you soon!

Picture Day for all 9th, 10th, and 11th
graders, as well as for Faculty/Staff, is today, Tuesday, September 12th in the
Gym. Students will come to the Gym with their English class.
Makeups for Senior portraits will be on Tuesday, September 19th in the
