Student Announcements for Tuesday, April 7th


Boro Blowout is coming up! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 11th. Sign-ups for sessions will be happening during lunch. Sessions are assigned on a first come, first serve basis -- so sign up ASAP! Descriptions of sessions are available on the tables in the Cafe Commons. You can also sign up from home using this link



The CHS Arts Department is seeking students who would like to perform original works in our annual Cabaret next Thursday, April 16 in the CHS Theater. We are also seeking technicians to work the production. Everyone will need to attend a dress rehearsal next Wednesday, April 15. We may have room for a few covers as well, so if you are interested in participating, please respond to this survey by Friday, April 11.

Self-written monologues
Self-written poetry
Play an instrument
Improv
Display an art piece - 2D/Ceramics


Cabaret Night is on Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 on the CHS Theater Stage ( both the performers and audience are on the stage.)  The evening is filled with music and poetry written by CHS students.  If you would like to be considered as a performer, please fill out the form: https://docs.google.com/a/chccs.k12.nc.us/forms/d/1-SdSVQ5VhoBACDI1uSAegNdchuRiKjz-tU2DBNYWm38/viewform.  If you would like to support the performers, please come.  There is no charge.


The CHS Athletic Booster Club will be awarding, in honor of Susan C. Price, $1000.00 scholarship to one male and one female senior athlete. Applications are available from the Athletic Director, April Ross.  The deadline is April 24, 2015 at 4pm

Eligibility:
Must be a senior enrolled at CHS
Must participate on at least one CHS varsity athletic team
Must have plans to attend a 2 or 4 year college/university or accredited technical school
May not be related to officers of the CHS Athletic Booster Club or Athletic Department Staff
Must submit application to Athletic Director by deadline (incomplete applications will not be considered)




Are you interested in fishing? Would you like to learn about the sport?  If so, come by D123 any Friday during B lunch!  The Jaguar JigHeads would love to see you there!


Junior Class Council will be selling prom tickets at lunch this week. Tickets will be $70 for a couple and $50 for a single. If you plan on taking a date from another school, stop by to get a permission slip.
