Student Announcements for Friday, March 6th

CHS is on a weather delay schedule, we have an abbreviated 7 period schedule with CLOSED CAMPUS for lunch.


1st Annual CHS Elective Fair this Friday, 3/6/15, during lunch in the library!  Students can come learn more about electives in the Arts, CTE, World Language, English, Science, Social Studies, Math, PE and AVID.


DECA members, there will be a field trip to Durham Bulls’ Baseball Park to learn about Marketing and Economics, as well as take in a day game. The fee will be $10.00, which covers lunch and a ticket to the game. All interested members should pick up a permission slip from Mr. McSwain in Room E115. You will need to turn in the permission slip and field trip fee no later than Friday, March 13th. There are limited slots open, so please hurry!


SGA ELECTIONS - Attention students, if you are interested in becoming either a Student Government Officer or Senator be sure to have your forms turned in by Monday March 23. Forms are located by the Student Government Bulletin Board by the commons/Main Entry.


Junior Class Council will be selling PROM TICKETS at lunch this week. Tickets will be $50 for a couple and $30 for a single. If you plan on taking a date from another school, stop by to get a permission slip. Buy your tickets before prices go up!!


Any Junior or Seniors that would like to go to prom but cannot afford a dress please see Ms. Crider immediately to get an application for CINDERELLA’S CLOSET.  Applications are due on March 9th which is next Monday!

Carrboro High School's Special Olympics Club is hosting a PROJECT UNIFY SOCCER EVENT
We're looking for players!  Look for sign up sheets in the Commons during lunch, or see Grace Nanney or Mrs. Barry to sign up.
This is a FUN event!  No experience necessary!  
Play will take place in the CHS Gym:
Saturday, March 141-4pm

CHCCS’s 2nd ANNUAL ALL-HIGH SCHOOL FICTION AND POETRY CONTEST!
