Up your Valentine's Day Card Game. Be sure to stop by the SkillsUSA booth during lunch to purchase a personalized felt fortune cookie with a treat that will be delivered to your special someone on Valentine's Day. Order during Smart Lunch in the Commons, now until February 13th.


There will be a SkillsUSA meeting for members during B Lunch in Ms. Landis' Room, E115.


Don't miss your chance to purchase your Valentine's gifts from the National Honor Society! You may pre-order flowers during both lunches every day this week.  Look for us in the Commons outside the Media Center. Flowers will be delivered on Valentine's Day with your personal message.


If you signed up to be a member of the pit orchestra for our spring musical, The Addams Family, please plan to meet in the band room tomorrow, February 9 during A Lunch. Please see Mr. Spillman if you are unable to attend or if you have questions beforehand.


It's that time of year again! Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and Unnecessary Measures wants to help you serenade and embarrass your favorite teacher, staff member, or best friend! Buy a singing gram at the table outside of the library at lunch! One is song is $5 and each additional song is $2.

The Freshman Class Counsel will be selling "Class of 2021" shirts this year. To pre-order your shirt, check your email and fill out the Google Form.


Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and it's time to meet your match! Sophomore Class Council is here to help! For only $1 you can fill out a quick quiz this week Tuesday-Friday in front of the library. You will receive a list of your potential matches on February 12 -14!


Spring Sports begin on February 14. Students who wish to try out for Spring Sports must register online before Feb. 13, submit a physical exam and a concussion form to Coach Ross. After you complete the three requirements, you must pick up a "Ticket To Play" form from Coach Ross in the Commons on the following dates: February 1, 2, 5, 6, 12, 13.  YOU cannot tryout without a Ticket to Play! Free Physicals on Feb. 13 from 5:30-7pm at UNC Orthopaedics 6011 Farrington Road Suite 201 Chapel Hill. You must bring a signed NCHSAA Physical Exam Form to be seen by a physician.


After school tutoring is canceled today due to Parent/Teacher conferences being held. See you next Tuesday.

The deadline for deciding about Nicaragua is fast approaching. Join us tomorrow in Mr. Klakovich's room (D214) at lunch to learn more about this opportunity.


Blue Ribbon will host the annual Gap Year Fair on Sunday, February 11 from 1:00 - 4:00 at Carrboro High School. See attached flyer in your email.

Did you know that not only is February Career and Technical Education month, but that this week is National School Counselor Week? The CTE department would like to say thanks to Ms. Sholomon, Mr. Lathan, and Mr. Turner for all of their hard work. Stop by the CIC to let them know how much you appreciate them too!

Coy Maddry Memorial Scholarship applications are available from Coach Ross.  This is a faith based student athlete scholarship of $1,000.00 administered by the Orange United Methodist Church of Chapel Hill. Deadline is May 1st.

The Soda Taste Off will be held during lunch in the cafe commons. The  Honors Strategic Marketing class is doing research on the effect marketing has on the soda we buy.  Be a Savage and come to the Soda Taste Off.  


Report cards will go home today. You should have received yours during 4th period.


Reminder- Pandora, our Pet Pal therapy dog will be here during lunch in the Cafe Commons in front of the Media Center for a Meet and Greet!!  Please stop by and introduce yourself to the newest member of our Carrboro High School Community!
