Please join us for the first SNAC (Special Needs Advisory Council) meeting of the school year! The Special Needs Advisory Council (SNAC) is a group of parents, district staff, and community professionals working together for the continuous improvement of the CHCCS Exceptional Children's program. Our purpose is to influence district policy on EC issues and promote inclusion in our schools. If your child currently has (or recently had) an IEP or a 504 plan, is medically fragile, or has learning differences, then it is in your interest to get involved with SNAC.SNAC meets monthly during the school year and everyone is welcome. Learn about special education issues, find out the latest news from the CHCCS EC Department, and meet other caregivers. The first meeting will be an overview of what SNAC is, ways to become involved, and how it benefits your child.
