The TRU club, Tobacco Reality Unfiltered, is meeting at lunch tomorrow, Wed., 10/70in E117.  Lunch provided!

Student Government is holding a fundraiser at the Walk for Education and we need your stuffed animals!! Bring your stuffed animals to the bin in front of the library no later than Friday, Oct. 9th.

"Come audition for CHS's annual 2015 One Act Festival! The One Act festival is arrangement of short, low-stress 5-20 minute plays directed and produced by CHS students. There are four audition opportunities: lunchtime at 12:15 & after school at 4:00 on two audition dates: Oct. 12 and Oct. 13.er Callbacks are on Thursday, October 15th. (PLEASE ANNOUNCE!) Attention all science geeks. The CHS Biology Club is hosting a guest speaker from the UNC Chemistry department Friday, Oct. 9th during B lunch in E224, Mrs. Bulleri's room. Come and learn about interesting science research topics, and find out how you can get a job in the chemistry lab at UNC.

The CHS Outdoor Club is having a meeting this Friday, Oct. 9th during B lunch. Bring your $10 membership fee. You can pick up the field trip form for our first hiking adventure on Nov. 7th to Hanging Rock State Park in the box outside of D124. Field trip forms are due Oct. 28th.

Carrboro DECA continues its membership drive! The membership is only $20, and can be paid to Mr. McSwain during lunch and after school. Come by E115 today!

Current DECA members: anyone interested in working on one of our chapter committees, please see Mr. McSwain or one of these members of our chapter’s leadership: Sofia Dimos, Ted Bilden, Jon Cox, Mackenzie Linstead, Nils Maetzel, Jackson Asaro, Taiyo Kakefuda, and Stephen Travers.

All students: don't forget about our after-school tutorial program! Tutoring takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm in the Media Center. We have eager young people who can help with Math, Science, Social Studies, and Writing! This is available to everyone, and we have transportation for folks who live in the district!

Be Part of PTA’s Reflections Program.   Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts.  Deadline for entries is Nov. 12, 2015.  Return entries to Ms. Schrader in Room E-122.

Spirit Week is coming! Oct. 12 - Oct. 16 - Monday-Superheroes; Tuesday-Twin Day;  Wednesday-Wilderness Day; Thursday-Jersey Day and Friday-Class Colors.  Seniors-White; Juniors-Purple; Sophomores-Black and Freshmen-Yellow.

Senior Portraits retakes will be taken today in the library!   If you have not yet taken your Senior Portrait or need to have them retaken this will be the last date to be included in the yearbook.

Key Club's first meeting will be this Friday, October 2nd during A lunch in room D114. We would love for you to join us, even if you didn't sign at Jaguar Jump-In. We will have food and will be discussing this year's plans.

All Varsity 2015 Spring Athletes who qualify for the individual scholar-athlete award may pick up their certificate and bumper sticker from Coach Ross. Check the list on her office door.
