Student Announcements: May 6, 2019

Bike to School!! Wednesday, May 8th is National Bike and Walk to School Day, and we want Carrboro to be a part of that as a movement to be more environmentally friendly and reduce our overall emissions both as a school and as a community. All we're asking is for ONE day! So please dust off the bike in your shed and join us in a movement to make Carrboro an even more sustainable school. Unable to bike? Carpool! For every additional person you have in your car you cut your car emissions in half, which is a big difference in your overall footprint. Follow @chs.bike2schoolday on Instagram for more information and send questions towards Taylor Gwynne, Sajan Lamba, or Mr. Klakovich

Are You Ready for some Football??  If you are interested in playing Football for CHS next season, come on out and join the fun this spring, starting May 13th.  Practice will be from 4 - 6:30. If you have any questions, see Coach Lathan in Student Services.

Congratulations to the cast, crew, directors, and producers of Xanadu Productions' A Tiny Miracle with a Fiberoptic Unicorn on a successful run this past weekend.

The Smart Lunch subjects today are CTE/World Language/Arts/Healthful Living
