Sophomores:  If you are interested in applying to attend Middle College High School (earn a year or more of transferable college credit), the application window is Jan. 7-Jan. 31.  Please see Mr. Harkey in Student Services with any questions.

Blue Ribbon Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) will kick off its first meeting of 2019 Thursday during lunch in D217! We will have a former YLI student as our guest speaker who will share their experience with YLI and how it helped prepare them for college and answer any questions students may have. Snacks will be provided


Seniors, if you would like to meet with the Durham Tech representative to learn more about their programs and applying, email Ms. Coley (lcoley@chccs.k12.nc.us) to schedule an appointment for Friday, Jan 18.

It is that time of year again! The annual SGA Winterlinks Fundraiser is back. This year SGA is partnering with Dixon High School to donate to Hurricane Florence victims. From now until the end of January, you can donate money to help the cause in your fourth period classes. The class that has collected the most money will receive free Sunrise Biscuits!


Are you ready to dance away the winter blues? Friday January 25 will be the Carrboro High School's Winter formal here in the commons from 8-11. Tickets for Snowball go on sale today at lunch 1 for $15 or 2 for $20.


Congratulations to Sgt. Grant Mayfield for earning his School Resource Officer Certificate.  Sgt. Mayfield is one of only 237 officers in the State of North Carolina to earn his SRO certificate by completing more than 400 hours of training through the NC Justice Academy.  Congratulate him and ask to see his award!
