Student Announcements: October 17, 2018

Attention students interested in a career in the military. East Chapel Hill High will be offering the ASVAB on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 9:00am. You must register by November 21 and provide your own transportation. ASVAB flyer


The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) information session will be in Room C117 during lunch today.  Bring your food with you and get there ASAP.


A representative from Columbia University will be in the CIC on Friday, Oct. 19 at 9:45am. Sign up in the CIC if interested.


The CHS Quiz Bowl Club is looking for new members! Anyone interested is welcome to come to our meetings on Fridays during lunch in E216.


There will be a meeting of the National Honor Society tomorrow during lunch in Ms. Rubenstein's room (D218). Members interested in holding an office should come prepared with a short presentation for your peers.


NC Free College Application Week is this week until Friday October 19 in the CHS Media Center. Please sign up for an application session using the link in your email. See your email for an informational flyer, and feel free to contact someone in the CIC with any questions.


The Minority Student Union meets this Thursday at lunch in Mr. Murchison's room (D217).

The School Media Center will be closed for a half day TOMORROW, Thursday, Oct. 18.  The Library will resume normal operating hours in the afternoon beginning 5th period.


Our Jaguar Women's Cross Country Team won their 10th consecutive conference title yesterday and our Men's Team placed 3rd.  Regionals will be on Oct. 27 at Wake Med. Park.


Volleyball advances to the Mid-State Conference Tournament Finals tonight at Cummings vs NCSSM, 6pm.


Football defeated Bartlett Yancey 29-14 last night; our current standing is  4-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
