This is Principal LaVerne Mattocks with updates for Carrboro High School families. Thank you to all participants and observers at the recent CHCCS Budget Focused Dialogue. We look forward to continual discussions on CHS priorities and ideas for creative operations.
This week"s announcements:
(1) The deadline for ordering breakfast and roses for your children's teachers and staff is Monday, April 14, 2014. The breakfast and roses kick off the celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week. The roses will be delivered on April 30 and the breakfast will be held May 2. This year--as much or more than ever--our teachers need your support. The order form or online ordering is available on the public school foundation website at publicschoolfoundation.org. If you send it via email, parents can place orders online here. You can also use the order form, and mail it to PO Box 877, Carrboro, NC 27510 or fax the form to 919-968-7884.
(2) Carrboro High School is trying to solicit proctors for AP tests between May 5-16. We really need more volunteers. Anyone able to assist should contact Leigh Ann Lombardi at llombardi@chccs.k12.nc.us or at 919-918-2200 x 25004.
